Welcome. I'm Glad You're Here.

Reaching out for support takes real courage, especially the first time. Whatever brought you here — anxiety that won't quiet down, a loss that's changed everything, a relationship that feels stuck, or simply the sense that something needs to shift — you don't have to carry it alone, and you don't have to have it all figured out before we talk.

My office is designed to feel comfortable, welcoming, and private — a place to slow down, talk openly, and be met without judgment. Counseling sessions move at your pace, shaped around what you actually need rather than a one-size-fits-all method, whether you're here for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your whole family.

Sometimes the hardest seasons of life aren't defined by a diagnosis. Other times, they are — but a diagnosis is only one small part of your story.

You deserve to be seen as a person, not a label.

For almost 30 years, I've worked with children, teens, adults, couples, families, and seniors through some of life's most difficult and uncertain seasons. My approach is warm, honest, practical, and grounded in the belief that people need more than someone who simply listens — they need to feel understood and leave with a clearer path forward.

You don't have to face this alone. I'm here to help.

How I Can Help

Support for children, teens, adults, couples, families, and seniors — because life's challenges look different at every age.

  • Child & Adolescent Counseling

Kids don't always have the words to explain what's wrong. I help children and teens with ADHD, anxiety, big emotions, behavioral concerns, school and friendship struggles, depression, grief, divorce, and family changes. A child doesn't need a diagnosis to need some extra support.

  • Anxiety, Stress & Feeling Overwhelmed

When your mind won't slow down or you're carrying more than you can manage, counseling can help you understand what's happening and develop practical ways to feel more in control.

  • ADHD Support

ADHD can affect much more than attention. I help children, teens, and adults develop practical strategies for focus, organization, emotional regulation, follow-through, and everyday life.

Some of Life's Hardest Struggles Don't Fit Into a Diagnosis

Sometimes you know exactly what's wrong. Other times, you just know something doesn't feel right. You may not have a diagnosis — and you don't need one to recognize that something in your life needs attention.

Counseling & Coaching FAQ

A few things you may want to know before our first conversation.

How do I get started with counseling or coaching?

Start with a call, text, or free 20-minute consultation. There is no obligation — just an opportunity to talk about what you're looking for and whether I may be the right fit.

Do I need a diagnosis to come to counseling?

No. You may have a diagnosis, or you may simply know that something in your life isn't working the way you want it to. You don't need a label to ask for support.

Is what I share confidential?

Counseling is confidential, with certain exceptions required by law and professional ethics. I can explain those limits clearly before we begin.

Do you work with children and teens?

Yes. I work with children and teens experiencing ADHD, anxiety, big emotions, behavioral or school concerns, grief, depression, divorce, family changes, and other challenges. Parents are supported through the process as well.

Do you offer in-person and online appointments?

Yes. In-person counseling is available at my Longwood office, with secure online sessions available where appropriate.
